Diagnose before solving
Identify what actually changed before jumping to a solution.

Credit Union Edition
Build better judgment. Make stronger recommendations. Be ready for more.
Frontline employees make judgment calls every day—often before a manager ever gets involved.
The Thinking Edge gives employees practical decision-making practice so they can pause before acting, separate facts from assumptions, identify what information matters, make stronger recommendations, work within their authority, and recognize when escalation is the right decision.
Seven practical modules. One-time learner-seat purchase. No subscription or recurring employee fee.
The Thinking Edge is not about memorizing another set of rules. Learners practice how to think through situations where the answer may not be immediately obvious.
Identify what actually changed before jumping to a solution.
Recognize what is known, what is being assumed, and what still needs to be verified.
Focus on the information that could actually change the decision.
Move from “What should I do?” toward a reasoned recommendation.
Handle what belongs at the employee's level without taking ownership of work that does not.
Recognize when risk, complexity, authority, or consequences make escalation the better decision.
Instead of:
“What should I do?”
Build toward:
“Here’s what I know, what I still need to verify, and what I recommend.”
That difference is the heart of The Thinking Edge.
Learners work through realistic credit-union situations, choose how they would respond, and receive immediate feedback on the reasoning behind stronger and weaker choices.
Across seven modules, they practice the same core judgment skills from different angles so the experience becomes more than knowing the ‘right answer.’
Work through realistic decisions that do not always have an obvious first move.
Choose a response based on the information available.
See why one approach moves the situation forward more effectively than another.
The Thinking Edge is designed to help employees become more thoughtful about:

LICENSING
One seat is for one named learner. A seat activates when that learner first accesses the portal.
Unused seats stay available for up to five years. The five-year period begins on the original purchase date.
Activated learners receive 12 months of portal access. Their access begins with their first successful portal sign-in.
Activated seats are not transferable. They remain connected to that learner and cannot be recycled for another employee.
Give employees practice making the kinds of decisions that help them contribute at a higher level.
